Every third Friday of the month the so-called TGIF (Thank god it’s Friday) takes place.
Every employee can bring a meal of his or her choice to this event and share it with colleagues. It does not matter whether it is an appetizer, a main course or a dessert. A lot of people love to prepare something nice, special and homemade for this occasion, but also store-bought food is okay ;-)
I personally baked two different kinds of puff pastries yesterday evening and brought them to share.
The great thing about the TGIF is that on the one hand you get a very varied lunch and on the other hand you can have a great time with your colleagues. Especially for me, as a newcomer, it is great to get in touch with colleagues from other departments and expand my network within LeanIX.
The food was excellent, by the way, from Italian noodle salad, over Greek salad up to baguette with tasty dips and small dough snacks no wishes remained open. Also, the dessert was a dream, there were an apple crumble cake and a white chocolate cream with raspberries. Hmmmm, simply delicious!
I'm already looking forward to the next TGIF and I'm curious to get to know new dishes but also to try them out myself and then share them with my team.
In this sense: Have a nice weekend and see you Monday!
