Our client RUAG is a major player in the aviation, space, technology and defense field. Based in Bern, Switzerland, RUAG has grown rapidly over the last 15 years through mergers and acquisitions and internationalization. As a consequence of this growth, their IT landscape has grown more and more complex. In 2014 RUAG operated over 150 ERP-like systems and 17 SAP instances.

To get to grips with the lack of transparency and related risks RUAG decided to establish a unified IT inventory. leanIX was brought in to help with building the inventory through collaboration.
